Countable
1.
use “a/an” or a number in front of countable nouns
e.g.: an
apple, a cat,……………………………………

Uncountable
2.
“a/an” or number is not used with uncountable nouns. “some” is used
instead
e.g.: some
bread, some milk, ,……………………….…

Add (s) or (es) to make a countable noun plural
e.g.: an
apple – apples
a watch - watches

To make uncountable nouns countable add a counting word, such as a
unit of measurement, or the general word piece. We use the form "a
